January 18, 1989 TO: OPERATIONS COMMITTEE NO. 3-89 RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - MARCH 11, 1989 __________________________________________________________ This is to advise you that the next Operations Committee Meeting will be held on Saturday, March 11, 1989 at 8:30 a.m. at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort which is located at 74855 Country Club Drive at Palm Desert, California. This meeting immediately preceeds the FBA/CCH Mutual Funds and Investment Management Conference which is being held from March 13 to 16, 1989 at Marriott's Desert Springs. For your convenience, we have reserved sleeping rooms for the nights of March 10 and 11 at Marriott's Desert Springs at the rate of $210.00 per night (single/double). In order to make room resevations, you must call the hotel at 619/341-2211 by Friday, February 17, 1989 and tell them you want a room in the ICI or Investment Company Institute block. EVEN THOUGH THE CUT-OFF DATE IS NOT UNTIL FEBRUARY 17, WE URGE YOU TO CALL THE HOTEL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS THEY ARE VERY BUSY WITH THE MUTUAL FUNDS CONFERENCE AND IT WOULD BE BETTER TO RESERVE ROOMS NOW AND CANCEL THEM LATER THAN TO WAIT UNTIL LATER WHEN IT MIGHT BE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THEM.
