RE: Revised 1995 Annual Mutual Fund Retirement Statistics

Due to new information and revisions from several major fund groups, the Annual Mutual Fund
Retirement Statistics have been revised for 1995 and 1994. Enclosed are the revised results. Estimates
are based on responses from 101 complexes covering 80.7 percent of total industry assets. A revised
analysis of the results and revised estimated retirement net flows are also included.
