Enclosed please find the summary of the February 9, 1996 meeting of the Bank & Trust
Advisory Committee and the Vendor Advisory Group, along with several attachments.
The next meeting of the Bank & Trust Advisory Committee and the Vendor Advisory
Group will take place on May 20, 1996 at the Investment Company Institute which is located at
1401 H Street, N.W. in Washington, D.C. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m., lunch will be
provided and the meeting is expected to continue until approximately 2:00 p.m. We will not be
holding a dinner for the Committee on the evening of Sunday, May 19, 1996.
Committee members who are planning to stay on after the Bank & Trust Advisory
Committee meeting for the ICIs General Membership Meeting ("GMM") should make hotel
reservations at the Washington Hilton Hotel which is located at 1919 Connecticut Avenue,
N.W. To make room reservations, please call the hotel at 202/797-5820 and identify yourself as
a GMM attendee. Room reservations should be made as early as possible, but not later than
April 19, 1996.
Committee members attending the Bank & Trust Advisory Committee meeting only,
should contact the Grand Hyatt Washington which is located at 1000 H Street, N.W. (just four
blocks from the ICI). To make room reservations, please call the hotel at 202/637-4903 and
request the Investment Company Institute rate which is $172.00. Rooms will be reserved subject
to availability, so make your reservations as soon as possible.
Please confirm your attendance at the meeting by completing the attached Meeting
Response Form (whether or not you plan to attend) and returning it to Agnes Thomas by April 30,

substitutes only. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved in advance by the Committee
Chairman and/or the ICI.
