RE: 1995 ICI SECURITIES LAW PROCEDURES CONFERENCE

As we previously informed you, the ICI Education Foundation will sponsor the 1995 ICI
Securities Law Procedures Conference on December 7 & 8 at the Grand Hyatt Washington, 1000
H Street, NW, Washington, D.C.
Representatives from the mutual fund industry, outside counsel, the SECs Division of
Investment Management, and the NASD will comprise six panels which will focus on current
issues regarding disclosure policy, compliance, rulemaking, and investment company
advertising and sales practices. There will also be two concurrent sessions on investment
adviser and UIT issues. Please refer to the enclosed brochure for further details.
If you have not already registered for the conference, please return the registration form
at the back of the brochure with the appropriate fee to the Institute. Please note that a section
has been provided on the form to indicate if you would like to pay by Visa or Master Card.
Conference registration cancellations made after November 21 will incur a $75 penalty. If you
