RE: Erick Kanter Plans to Leave the Institute

Erick Kanter has announced his intention to leave the Institute in order to establish his own financial
communications consulting practice and therefore has resigned as the Institute's Vice President -- Public
Information and Marketing. (See attached correspondence.) The Institute is retaining a leading
executive search firm to aid in the recruitment of a successor. Erick has agreed to remain at the Institute
through September to assist in the transition and will complete several other projects for us in the Fall.
I am sure you will join me in wishing Erick well in his endeavors.
