RE: MEETING MARCH 2ND AND 3RD IN JACKSONVILLE

Regarding March 2nd & 3rd, it seems that we've chosen to schedule our next
meeting at the beginning of the TPC (Tournament Players Association) Country
Club's busiest season. As a result, we need to act fast to block off rooms at the
Marriott Sawgrass before they're allocated out to golf groupies and other followers
of the pro tour.
The good people at Merrill Lynch thus need an accurate count as to how
many of you will require lodging at the Sawgrass the nights of March 1st and/or
March 2nd. In addition, the Merrill people are setting up a golf outing for those
members of BDAC who would like a chance to take to the links themselves. Tee
times will commence at the Sawgrass TPC club at 7:30 AM, March 2nd. To round
out the entertainment venue, a bus has been arranged for 7:30 PM to transport
BDAC members to the First Street Grill for a 7:45 dinner. The bus will make two
return trips to the hotel: 9:30 PM for the early crowd; and 11:00 PM for those with
party stamina.
Full details as to how to reserve rooms and tee times for yourselves will be
available once we're able to let the Marriott Sawgrass know how many guests to
expect for the nights of March 1st & 2nd, and how many golfers to expect for March
2nd in the morning. Rooms at the Sawgrass will be available at a special Merrill
Lynch/ICI rate of $145.00 per night. Fees for the golf outing will run approximately
$100.00. Please fax the accompanying form back to me at (202) 326-5841 by 12:00
noon Friday, January 7th in order to indicate your lodging needs and intentions
toward golf. Those who do not reply by that time face the prospect of being
harassed for a commitment over the phone by me on Friday afternoon. Trust me,
there are better ways to start a weekend.
