RE: INVESTMENT ADVISER WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED FOR 1994

The Investment Company Institute will sponsor three investment adviser
workshops in 1994 focusing on investment adviser issues. These workshops will
take place for 1 day in each of 3 different locations. Amy Lancellotta,
Associate Counsel of the Investment Company Institute, will moderate the panel
of experts, which include: Mary Ann Tynan of Wellington Management, chairman of
the Institute's Investment Adviser Committee; Robert L. Bunnen, Jr. of Spears
Benzak Salomon & Farrell; Susan Newton of John Hancock Advisers; and Keith Rudolf
of Stein Roe and Farnham.
The dates and places for the workshops are as follows: Friday, March 11
at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco, Wednesday, April 13 at the Hotel Westbury
in New York, and Tuesday, May 10 at the Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago. The
workshops are scheduled to being at 9:00 am.
Mark your calendar now, space will be limited to 100 attendees. Further
information will be mailed to you in the new year.
