RE: Sales Force Marketing Committee Meeting Rescheduled to
October 6

PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR. Because a number of committee members were
facing a conflict in commitments for October 8, the next meeting of the Sales
Force Marketing Committee has been rescheduled from October 8 to October 6, 1993,
at 1:30 p.m. in Washington, D.C. The meeting is open to committee members and
to broker-dealer associate members.
The agenda will include several topics of major relevance to committee
members, including a presentation by Mark Williamson on the NationsBank - Dean
Witter venture, a report by Frank McAuliffe on the new NASD proposal for
continuing education requirements, and a possible discussion of new initiatives.
Within the next few weeks you will be receiving additional information on all
four marketing committee meetings as well as locations for meetings and optional
dinners. A detailed agenda will be mailed in September. I look forward to seeing
you October 6.
