RE: SPECIAL MEETING TO REVIEW SEC 1940 ACT STUDY JUNE -- 10

A special meeting of the SEC Rules Committee will be held
on June 10 to review the Division of Investment Management’s
report on investment company regulation. The purpose of the
meeting is to develop the Institute’s preliminary positions on
the staff’s proposals, both legislative and regulatory, to
formulate responses and to establish priorities.
The meeting will be held in the State Room at the Mayflower
Hotel, which is located at 1127 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. The
meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to last at least
until 4:00 p.m.
We will circulate a detailed agenda with preliminary
recommendations in advance of the meeting.

block of rooms at the hotel; if you wish to reserve a room, call
the hotel no later than June 2 and mention that you are with the
