Enclosed is your copy of the 1992 Mutual Fund Fact Book.
The Fact Book contains 1991 yearend data in a number of
categories including sales, assets, exchanges, redemptions, and
shareholder accounts. The data show industrywide totals and in
many cases are classified by investment objective and method of
sales. The Fact Book has retained its basic format of tracking
industry trends and developments in 1991 (contained in the book's
first chapter) as well as describing the history and development
of the industry in subsequent chapters. In addition, in Chapter
13, The Retirement Market, the section pertaining to corporate
sponsors has been expanded. The 1992 book also contains two new
chapters: Chapter 14, Rollovers Represent Greater Share of
Retirement Assets, and Chapter 15, The Small Pension Plan Market.
