Attached for your reference is the agenda from yesterday’s ESG Task Force call, where we discussed recent developments on the following European Union policy initiatives related to sustainable finance:
- Taxonomy legislation negotiations (finalized 18 Dec)
- Final legislative text of Disclosure Regulation (officially published 9 Dec)
- European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) work to develop regulatory technical standards (RTS) for the Disclosure Regulation (consultation on draft RTS expected in Q1 2020)
- European Commission work to amend the UCITS Directive, AIFMD, and MiFID II (consultation on draft delegated acts expected later this month)
- European Green Deal (published 11 Dec)
- European Commission work to develop voluntary ecolabel for financial products
