The next meetings of the ICI Tax Committee will be on Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21 in Seattle, WA.  Russell Investments will host the meetings at their offices, located at 1301 Second Avenue, 18th Floor, Seattle, Washington, 98101.

The meeting on Thursday, June 20 will begin at 2:00 p.m.  The meeting on Friday, June 21 will begin at 9:00 a.m.  Lunch will be served both days; breakfast will be available on Friday.

Committee Dinner/Baseball Game

As in prior years, members may attend a baseball game (Seattle Mariners vs. Baltimore Orioles) on Thursday, June 20 at 7:10 pm PST.  Alternatively, members may attend dinner, to be held at Purple Café, 1225 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98101.  Members who attend the dinner will be charged a pro rata portion of the total cost after the meeting.  You may register for dinner or the baseball game at the meeting registration link above.

Meetings Topics/Agenda

The meeting on Thursday, June 20th, will be led by representatives from PwC and will focus on various domestic tax issues.  The June 21st meeting will focus on all tax issues of interest to the industry.  Agendas for both meetings are attached.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit

Meeting attendees are eligible for approximately 7.00 hours of CPE credit (Taxation). The Investment Company Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (“NASBA”) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
