TO: EQUITY MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 30-16 RE: SEPTEMBER 14 EQUITY MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING & SEPTEMBER 13 COMMITTEE DINNER; DRAFT AGENDA AND GUEST SPEAKERS
The fall meeting of the Equity Markets Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, 2016. The meeting will be held at the Investment Company Institute in Washington, DC, Conference Room 12AB. The meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time and should conclude no later than 1:00 p.m. Breakfast (beginning at 8:30 a.m.) and lunch will be served. Please be aware that there will be no video conference or conference call option for this meeting.
Guest Speakers
We are pleased to have the following guest speakers joining us:
- David Shillman, Associate Director, Division of Trading and Markets, SEC (to discuss transparency of market data fees);
- Stacey Cunningham, Chief Operating Officer, NYSE (to discuss regulatory and other changes after the market volatility of August 24); and
- Georgia Bullitt and Henrietta de Salis, Willkie Farr & Gallagher (to discuss implications for global firms of the EU’s Market Abuse Regulation).
