ICI Conference Call to Discuss Department of Labor Definition of Fiduciary Proposed Rule Scheduled for May 8, 2015

The Institute has scheduled a second conference call to discuss the Department of Labor’s recently issued Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“NPRM”) regarding the definition of fiduciary.  During the call, we will be discussing items on the Institute’s preliminary issues list relating to the NPRM and the Best Interest Contract (“BIC”) exemption. We anticipate distributing the issues list to the Committees via email on Monday, May 4, 2015, and would welcome receiving additions to the list prior to the call.
