TO: PENSION COMMITTEE No. 1-15
The joint meeting of the Pension and Pension Operations Advisory Committees will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. The meeting will take place in the David Silver Conference Room at the Institute’s office located at 1401 H Street N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. Breakfast and lunch will be served. We are pleased that Tim Hauser – Deputy Assistant Secretary for Program Operations, U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration, and Preston Rutledge – Benefits Tax Counsel, U.S. Senate Finance Committee, have tentatively confirmed as speakers.
The Institute has implemented an online registration process for all committee meetings. To register for the February meeting please visit our registration site at www.ici.org/reg/pension. Please note that the only way to register for the meeting and dinner is through the link indicated above. The pension staff is in the process of finalizing the meeting agenda and confirming speakers. If you have any suggestions for agenda items (including speaker suggestions) please email them to Howard Bard (howard.bard@ici.org). A draft meeting agenda will be circulated prior to the meeting date.
We are organizing an informal dinner for the evening of February 9 at 6:00 p.m. for members (or their substitutes) and ICI staff at The Oval Room (www.ovalroom.com), 800 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. (four blocks from the ICI office). The cost of the dinner is $98.00 per person and can be paid via credit card as part of the registration process. Please note that dinner cancellations must be made by 5:00 pm, Eastern on Wednesday, February 4 in order to receive a refund.
