RE: Agenda and Registration for July 17 Meeting

1. The Public Information Committee will be holding its summer
meeting in New York City on July 17, 1991 at the Algonquin Hotel
59 West 44th St., New York, NY 10036.
2. This meeting is shaping up as one of the best meetings of the
year, with appearances by several key members of the New York
financial press. In addition to a panel with Floyd Norris, Andy
Serwer, and a yet-to-be named TV person, we are pleased that Dean
Rotbart of TJFR Business News Reporter, one of the the most
respected observers of the business press, will be with us in the
afternoon.
3. The preliminary agenda is attached. Please contact Steve
Norwitz or Erick Kanter if you have suggested additions.
4. The ad hoc subcommittees will sit together during lunch to
develop specific discussion and subject-related points for the
full committee and discussion.
5. Please use the attached response sheet to notify Betty Hart
(202/955-3532) or Connie Creswell (202/955-3531) by telephone,
mail, or fax (202/293-2673) if you plan to attend. Our
conference staff has obtained an excellent room rate of $145 for
a single/double at the Algonquin, if you need to stay overnight.
However, we would need to know if you plan to stay the night of
the 16th and/or the 17th in order to ensure there are enough
rooms at the favorable rate. You will also need to contact the
hotel reservation desk at 212/840-6800 in order to confirm your
room.
