TO: TAX COMMITTEE No. 36-13 RE: PROPOSED SCHEDULE D (1120-RIC) - COMMENTS REQUESTED
As we discussed on our last Tax Committee call, attached is a proposed Schedule D (Form 1120-RIC). The purpose of this proposed form is to enable funds to better provide RIC-specific information to the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”). It was created by Dori Laskin and her colleagues at the Capital Group and reflects comments received from other members.
The proposed form is attached in both pdf and Excel format. We would like to submit a draft form to the IRS as soon as possible. Therefore, please provide any comments to me (kgibian@ici.org or 202-371-5432) no later than Thursday, December 12, 2013.
