The Fact Book contains 1990 yearend data for a variety of
categories including sales, assets, exchanges, redemptions, and
shareholder accounts. Much of the information is classified by
investment objective and method of sales. The Fact Book also
covers the history and development of mutual funds and analyzes
recent trends in the industry. A chapter on mutual funds outside
the U.S. and a new chapter on the financial profile of baby
boomers also appear in this year's edition.
