The next meeting of the Municipal Securities Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC.  The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time and should conclude no later than 2:00 p.m.  Lunch will be served at Noon.  A draft agenda is attached.

We have invited SEC Commissioner Elisse Walter to speak about SEC initiatives related to municipal securities markets.  In addition, MSRB Board Chair Alan Polsky and Executive Director Lynnette Kelly will lead a discussion of the MSRB’s priorities and regulatory initiatives.
