RE: MASSACHUSETTS BUSINESS TRUST REPORT FORMS

The Institute has recently been advised that the
Massachusetts Secretary of State has revised its annual report
form for Massachusetts business trusts. As you know, Rule 950
CMR 109.05 requires the trustees of an association or trust to
file an annual report with the Corporations Division on or before
June 1 of each year. According to the staff of the Corporations
Division, the form must list, and be signed by, at least two
trustees. The form must also be accompanied by a $75 filing fee.
