RE: MEETING TO CONSIDER DEFINITION OF FOREIGN SECURITIES

At the January 10 meeting of the SEC Rules Committee, a
question was raised regarding the definition of "foreign
securities" for purposes of determining when a fund investing in
such securities must include appropriate risk disclosure in its
prospectus.
We have scheduled a meeting at 10:00 a.m. on February 7 at
