TO: MUNICIPAL SECURITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 23-10 RE: REMINDER: JUNE 16 MUNICIPAL SECURITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING; DRAFT AGENDA ATTACHED
The next meeting of the Municipal Securities Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time in the David Silver Conference Room and should conclude no later than 2:00 p.m. A draft of the meeting agenda is attached.
Martha M. Haines, Chief, and Mary Simpkins, Senior Special Counsel, from the SEC’s Office of Municipal Securities will attend the meeting to discuss, among other things, recent developments at the SEC affecting municipal securities. Also, John McNally, President Elect, and Victoria P. Rostow, Director of Government Affairs, from NABL will attend the meeting to discuss, among other things, ABA/NABL’s joint publication -- Disclosure Roles of Counsel.
