Recently adopted rules will require all funds to add new disclosure to their statements of additional information (SAIs) and proxy statements about director qualifications, board structure, and the board’s oversight role in risk management. These new requirements take effect on February 28, 2010.
On January 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern), ICI staff will lead a discussion with Stuart Coleman and Janna Manes of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, and Rose DiMartino, Maria Gattuso, and Margery Neale of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP about the issues that funds, directors, and their counsel face in meeting these new requirements.
