RE: AGENDA FOR UPCOMING MEETING

Attached is the agenda for the next meeting of the Direct
Marketing Committee, which will be held on September 19, 1990 at
the Madison Hotel in Washington, DC. Please note that the meeting
will be preceded by a joint luncheon with the Sales Force
Marketing Committee. The luncheon, which will begin at 12:30,
will feature a report on current regulatory and legislative
issues.
You should have already received a schedule of the next meetings
of the Institute's other marketing and communications-oriented
committees. If you have not already done so, please let us know
at your earliest convenience whether you plan to attend the
meetings. You may do so by returning the response form attached
to the original meeting notice, or calling Connie Creswell at
