SEC RULES MEMBERS No. 117-07 RE: FINRA OFFERS FREE FIXED-INCOME TRADE DATA

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) expanded the Market Data section of its website to display real-time pricing and other trade data for mutual funds, options, equities and government, corporate, and municipal bonds at no charge. [1]  With regard to bonds, the site includes credit ratings from the three major rating agencies, real-time transacted price information for corporate and municipal bonds, and end-of-day prices for Treasury bonds.  The site also includes a municipal securities search engine that includes numerous search options, including the ability to search for bonds based on tax status, yields, price, coupon rate, and put-ability or call-ability.  At this time, it will not include disclosure information.
