As you will recall, members attending the April committee
meeting decided that we should have an additional meeting this
year. The date chosen for this meeting is Monday, July 16.
The meeting will be held at the Madison Hotel, at 15th & M
Streets, N.W. in Washington. We have reserved a block of rooms
at the Madison for committee members at a special rate of
$145.00. Be sure to mention the Institute when making your room
reservation.
The meeting of the full committee will begin at 11:00 a.m.,
but it will be preceeded by meetings of our four new ad hoc sub-
committees (Industry Issues, Equity and International, Fixed
Income, and Money Market) at 9:30 a.m.. If you are interested in
being a member of one of these ad hoc committees, please call
Steve Norwitz (301/547-2124) or me (202/955-3530) for
information.
A copy of the minutes from the two-part April meeting is
enclosed, and we will be sending you an agenda for July 16 in the
near future.
In the meantime, please notify Connie Creswell (202/955-
3531) in my office if you plan to attend.
As you may know, Kathryn Morrison has left the Institute.
Betty Hart will be taking her place as coordinator of the Public
Information Committee, and you can expect to receive information
concerning future committee meetings and activities from Betty.
