RE: INVESTMENT ADVISER REGISTRATION IN MARYLAND
POSTPONED UNTIL OCTOBER

The Maryland Division of Securities has confirmed that they
are in the process of writing regulations to implement the
statutory requirement for investment adviser registration in
Maryland. It is anticipated that the rules will be in final form
by July, which will make the requirement for investment adviser
registration effective as of October 1, 1990.
The anti-fraud and disclosure requirements are presently in
effect as they have been since July 1989. We will keep you
informed of further developments.
