TO: CONTRACTUAL PLANS COMMITTEE NO. 6-90
RE: STATE PLAN OF ACTION

Pursuant to the conference call on Tuesday, May 15, 1990,
the Contractual Plans Committee determined that the following
actions were to be taken:
1. the Institute will informally contact Nevada and
Montana to gather additional information as to the
scope and purpose of their recent inquiries;
2. First Investors will retain Pennsylvania counsel to
determine the applicability of Act 113 and resolve
that issue;
3. each plan sponsor will submit a format outlining
the information that would be appropriate to
furnish to the states on an industry wide basis to
Don O'Connor; and
4. the Institute will arrange a meeting with the
Investment Company Registration/Trading Practices
Committee of the North American Securities
Administrators Association prior to the NASAA Fall
Conference (to be held August 25 - 30, 1989 in
Billings, Montana).
