In the enclosed letter and related submission, I have underscored the Institute’s commitment to working with Chairman Cox and his fellow Commissioners. I have also highlighted important initiatives for the Commission’s consideration, including reforming the mutual fund disclosure regime by, for example, taking advantage of the Internet as a delivery medium, adopting a flexible and workable alternative to the Commission’s “hard 4:00 p.m. close” proposal, and improving the SEC’s efficiency and effectiveness. A copy of my letter and the Institute’s submission to Chairman Cox is enclosed. Paul Schott Stevens President Attachment (in .pdf format) Note: Not all recipients receive the attachments.
