RE: MUTUAL FUND LEGISLATION INTRODUCED BY REPRESENTATIVE GILLMOR
On June 3, Representative Gillmor (R-OH) introduced H.R. 4505, the “Mutual Fund
Reform Act of 2004.”1 The bill has been referred to the House Committee on Financial Services.
H.R. 4505 is identical to legislation introduced in February by Senators Peter Fitzgerald (R-IL),
Carl Levin (D-MI), and Susan Collins (R-ME).2
