RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - MARCH 31, 2004
A meeting of the Equity Markets Advisory Committee has been scheduled for
Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street,
N.W., Washington, D.C. The meeting will be held in the David Silver Conference Room on the
12th floor beginning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. We anticipate that the meeting will conclude no
later than 4:00 p.m. A draft meeting agenda is attached.
Robert Colby, Deputy Director, Division of Market Regulation, Securities and Exchange
Commission (and possibly Annette Nazareth, Director, Division of Market Regulation) will be
attending the meeting to discuss the Committee’s views on market structure and, in particular,
the SEC’s proposed Regulation NMS.
Please indicate on the response form below whether you, or an alternate from your firm,
plan to attend the meeting. In addition, please provide on the form below any additional items
that you would like to discuss at the meeting.
