Clark & Weinstock, a well-respected lobbying firm in Washington, has been retained to
assist independent directors who have expressed an interest in meetings on Capitol Hill in
connection with legislation that raises governance issues. The firm will schedule meetings,
provide briefing materials and assist directors as needed.
Even though retained by the ICI, the firm will work at the behest of and represent the
interests of independent directors. Marguerite Bateman and Dean Sackett will facilitate
communication and creation of background materials, as needed.
