RE: REMINDER - NOTICE OF MEETING - MAY 6, 2003
As we previously informed you, a meeting of the Equity Markets Advisory Committee
has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at the offices of the Investment Company
Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The meeting will be held in the David Silver
Conference Room on the 12th floor at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time. SEC Commissioner Paul S. Atkins
will be attending the beginning of the meeting to discuss the Committee’s views on market
structure. We anticipate that the meeting will conclude by 5:30 p.m. Due to lack of interest, the
Institute will not be utilizing videoconferencing technology on the west coast for this meeting.
If you have not yet responded, please indicate on the attached response form whether
you or an alternate plan to attend the meeting in Washington, D.C. In addition, a draft agenda
is attached for your review. Please provide on the attached response form any additional items
that you would like to discuss at the meeting.
