RE: STATE TAX UPDATE -- CONFERENCE CALL NOTICE
A conference call has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 26th at 4PM EST, to discuss
multiple developing state tax issues including:
• Texas legislation to eliminate the dividends paid deduction and subject business
trusts to the franchise tax;
• Arkansas and Kansas legislation to impose services taxes on financial
institutions;
• Nevada legislation to impose a gross receipts tax on corporations; and
• New Jersey proposed regulations regarding economic nexus.
