RE: Wall Street Journal letter

Attached is a copy of the Wall Street Journal's response to
Dave Silver's letter of Oct. 27, which we previously sent you.
You should also know that I met with Paul Steiger on Nov. 2
to discuss the broad range of our concerns about the Journal's
mutual fund coverage during the past two years. In addition, we
are planning to have another meeting in the near future with
Steiger, several other editors, and Mike Siconolfi.
If you write to the Journal to express your concerns about
any aspect of their coverage, it would be good to direct that
letter to Steiger, or at least make sure he receives an
informational copy. It would also be helpful to us to receive a
copy.
