RE: ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING COMPLIANCE WORKSHOPS - PRELIMINARY
PROGRAM
The Investment Company Institute has scheduled a series of Money Laundering
Compliance Workshops in two cities this fall. The first workshop will be held in Boston on
Wednesday, November 6, 2002. The second workshop will be held in San Francisco on Friday,
November 8, 2002. Enclosed is the preliminary program.
These workshops will be designed to assist mutual funds’ legal, compliance and
operations personnel in understanding the issues involved in implementing new SEC and
Treasury anti-money laundering regulations.
To register for the conference, please return the registration form and the appropriate fee
to the Institute’s Conference Division. The registration deadlines are October 23, 2002, for the
Boston workshop and October 25, 2002, for the San Francisco workshop. Registration for these
workshops will be limited to 100 registrants in Boston and 60 in San Francisco, so it is important
to register as early as possible. Only Institute committee members or employees of Institute
members may attend.
