RE: 2001 SECURITIES LAW DEVELOPMENTS CONFERENCE -- CONFERENCE
PROGRAM
The Investment Company Institute has scheduled the 2001 Securities Law
Developments Conference, sponsored by the ICI Education Foundation, for Thursday and
Friday, December 6th and 7th, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert Street, N.W., in
Washington, D.C. The conference program with the registration form is enclosed.
Representatives from the mutual fund industry, the U.S. Securities and Exchange
Commission, NASD Regulation, Inc., and outside counsel will comprise the conference panels
and will focus their discussions on current mutual fund regulatory issues including:
Rulemaking Initiatives; No-Action Positions, Interpretations, and Exemptive Applications;
Litigation; Compliance Issues; and NASD Issues.
CLE Credit
We are pleased to inform you that this program has been approved for a total of 10 CLE
credit hours for experienced attorneys (i.e. those admitted to NY bar for two or more years) by
the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board.
