RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - DECEMBER 6, 2001
A joint meeting of the Accounting/Treasurers Committee and the Independent
Accountants Advisory Group has been scheduled for December 6, 2001 at the offices of the
Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, D.C. The meeting will be held
in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th floor at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Lunch will be
served and the meeting is expected to continue until approximately 1:00 p.m.
For your convenience we have reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Crowne Plaza
Hotel for the night of Wednesday, December 5 at the rate of $169. The Crowne Plaza Hotel is
located at 14th and K Streets, N.W. To make a room reservation, please call the hotel at (202)
218-7537 or 1-800-2CROWNE by Friday, November 9 and ask for a room in the ICI/Investment
Company Institute block of rooms.
Due to the events of September 11, Committee members who are not able to come to the
meeting will be allowed to participate by telephone. Please indicate on the attached sheet
whether you or an alternate will be able to attend the meeting or participate by telephone. In
addition, please provide any agenda items that you would like to discuss at the meeting.
