RE: DRAFT LETTER ON REVISIONS TO MODEL 402(f) NOTICE
Attached for your review is a draft letter to the Treasury Department and the IRS
regarding modifications to the IRS model 402(f) notice in light of the Economic Growth and Tax
Relief Reconciliation Act. The draft letter was developed following an August 8th conference
call with interested members.
Please review the draft and contact me with any comments or suggestions by
Wednesday, August 15, 2001. We apologize for the short time frame; we are asking for your
