JUNE 4 AND 5 TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS IN MINNEAPOLIS, MN

[13431] April 20, 2001 TO: TAX COMMITTEE No. 16-01 RE: JUNE 4 AND 5 TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS IN MINNEAPOLIS, MN The next regularly scheduled meetings of the Tax Committee will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Marquette Hotel (710 Marquette Avenue) on June 4 and 5, 2001. Preliminary agendas for these meetings will be distributed approximately two weeks before the meetings. Attire for these meetings will be business casual. June 4 Subcommittee Meeting The subcommittee meeting, which will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday June 4, will focus on distribution-related issues. Among the items that we will discuss are: after-tax return calculation issues, year-end distribution issues, tax accounting rules for calculating year-end distribution requirements, and possible proposals for improving year-end tax reporting. Lunch will be available before the meeting. June 5 Tax Committee Meeting The regular meeting of the Tax Committee, which will focus on both ongoing projects and current developments, will begin on Tuesday, June 5 at 9:30 a.m. (rather than the usual starting time of 10:00 a.m.). Lunch will be available after the meeting. We will advise those who return the meeting response form of any other activities (e.g., a committee dinner) that we are able to arrange. Hotel Reservations Please make your hotel reservations by calling the Marquette Hotel directly at 612-215- 2096.
