RE: PRELIMINARY AGENDA - JANUARY 11TH COMMITTEE MEETING IN SAN
ANTONIO
As you were previously informed, the next Pension Operations Advisory Committee
meeting will be held Thursday, January 11th at the offices of the American Funds Group located
at 3500 Wiseman Blvd., San Antonio, Texas from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 2:00 p.m. If you
plan to attend the meeting, please complete the attached Attendance Response Form and
return it to ICI by fax.
We have arranged for a block of rooms to be held at the nearby Hyatt Regency Hill
Country Resort Hotel at the rate of $179 per night. The hotel is located at 9800 Hyatt Resort
Drive, San Antonio, TX. Please make your hotel reservations by December 20, 2000 to
guarantee this rate. The hotel’s telephone number is 210-647-1234. Please identify yourself as
being with the Investment Company Institute.
Transportation to and from the airport can be arranged via the hotel’s transportation
company, World Trans, at 210-520-4093 at a cost of $20.00 one way or $40.00 round trip. To use
this service you must call in advance to make a reservation. At your request the cost of the
service can be added to your hotel bill. The offices of the American Funds Group and the hotel
are approximately ½ hour from the airport.
We have attached a preliminary agenda for the meeting, which will be finalized and
distributed prior to the meeting. If you would like to suggest additional agenda items, please
describe them on the attached Attendance Response Form, or contact the undersigned at
