RE: PENSION COMMITTEE MEETING PRELIMINARY AGENDA

Attached is a preliminary agenda for the next Pension Committee meeting scheduled for Friday,
June 16, 2000 in Denver, Colorado. As you were previously informed,1 the meeting will be held at the
Westin Tabor Center from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A continental breakfast will be available from 8:30
a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. If you have not yet informed us of your plans
to attend the meeting, please do so by completing the attached form and faxing it to the Institute at
(202) 326-5841 by the close of business, Wednesday, June 7th.
The Westin Tabor Center hotel is located in downtown Denver. Please be aware that it takes
approximately 45 minutes to an hour to travel from the Denver airport to the hotel. Cab fare is
approximately $43 to $46 each way. “Supershuttle” service is available for $17 one way/$30 roundtrip;
service runs every 15 minutes; reservations are not needed.2
For those of you arriving on Thursday, June 15, we have planned a dinner event at a restaurant,
The Broker, which is within walking distance of the hotel. We plan cocktails at 7:00 p.m. and dinner at
7:30 p.m. (Please note that you will be expected to reimburse the Institute for your share of dinner
costs). Please inform us on the attached response form if you plan on attending the dinner. Further
information will be provided to meeting attendees at a later date.
