RE: PRELIMINARY AGENDA FOR SEPTEMBER 15 TAX COMMITTEE MEETING
IN SAN DIEGO

The preliminary agenda for the Tax Committee meeting to be held on Wednesday, September
15, at the Hyatt Regency San Diego (One Market Place, San Diego, California) is attached. The attire
for the meeting will be business casual. The meeting will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. in the Regency
Ballroom A&B and end by 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be available to Tax Committee members beginning at
noon.
For those members unable to make return flight arrangements for Wednesday evening, we are
planning two dinner options. First, arrangements are being made for a block of tickets to see the Padres
play the Atlanta Braves at 7:35 p.m. Second, arrangements have been made for a 5:15 p.m. ranger-led
walking tour of Balboa Park that should last about an hour and focus on the park’s history, architecture
and botany. The Balboa Park tour will be followed by a casual, a lá carte dinner. If you would like to
attend one of these dinners, please inform the Institute’s Trish Weems of your choice by e-mail
(pweems@ici.org) or by faxing a completed copy of the attached response form to 202 326-5841 no
later than Wednesday, September 8.
