The Investment Company Institute will sponsor its first Mutual Fund Compliance Conference
on June 10-11, 1999, at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, 1127 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington,
D.C. Enclosed is the final conference brochure.
The conference is designed for experienced mutual fund industry professionals with regulatory
compliance responsibilities. It will feature panels covering a variety of mutual fund compliance issues,
including: portfolio compliance; money laundering compliance; money market fund compliance;
compliance issues associated with non-traditional fund structures; trading and other issues; international
compliance issues; codes of ethics; advertising compliance; and distribution compliance. Please refer to
the enclosed brochure for further details.
If you have not yet registered for the conference, please return the registration form, along with
the attached form indicating your choices for the concurrent panel sessions, and the appropriate fee to
the Institute’s Conference Division as soon as possible. Conference registration cancellations received
between May 28 and June 4 will be subject to a $250 administrative fee. We regret that no registration
fees can be refunded after June 4. To make your hotel reservations, please call the Renaissance
Mayflower Hotel at 202/347-3000 by May 28 and mention that you will be attending the Institute’s
conference.
