The ICI Securities Law Procedures Conference, sponsored by the ICI Education
Foundation, will be held December 7-8 at the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel, 999 Ninth
Street, NW, Washington, DC. Attached is a brochure of the preliminary program with the
registration form.
Representatives from the mutual fund industry, the US Securities and Exchange
Commission, NASD Regulation, Inc., and outside counsel will comprise five panels which will
focus on Current Rulemaking; Technology Issues; No-action Positions, Interpretations and
Exemptive Applications; Compliance Issues; and NASD Issues. Please refer to the enclosed
preliminary program for further details.
To register for the conference, please return the registration form in the back of the
brochure with the appropriate fee to the Institute’s Conference Division. Conference
registration cancellations after November 13 will be subject to a $250 administrative fee. To
make your hotel reservations, please call the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel at
202/898-9000. Please call to reserve your room by November 13 to obtain the conference rates
of $155 single/$175 double, and be sure to identify yourself as an ICI conference attendee to
secure these rates.
