The Investment Company Institute is holding its Fifth Annual Investment Company Directors
Conference, October 28-30, 1998 at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. Enclosed is the final
program and registration form.
The Conference will offer a varied program of industry experts, government officials and
experienced fund directors sharing their perspectives on issues of interest and concern to the fund
director community, and will afford ample opportunity for small group discussions. As noted in the
program, David Gergen will be the featured speaker following the Thursday evening dinner, which will
be held at the Ronald Reagan Building.
Attendance at the Conference is limited to directors, officers and employees of Institute
members, and will be limited to a total of 250 persons. The Institute requests that registrations be
received by October 16. All registrations will be confirmed by mail.
Registration for the Conference includes a reception on Wednesday, October 28 and the above-
mentioned reception and dinner on Thursday, October 29. Because hotel space is expected to be very
tight in Washington during October, we suggest that you call the Capital Hilton Hotel for reservations at
202-393-1000, ext. 5555 or 1-800-HILTONS, prior to the cutoff date of Wednesday, October 14, 1998.
