ICI Statement on SEC Chair Nomination

Washington, DC; December 4, 2024—Today, Investment Company Institute (ICI) President and CEO Eric J. Pan released the following statement in response to President-elect Trump’s nomination of Paul Atkins as Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC):

His distinguished record, years of experience in the industry, and history of service at the SEC make him a supremely well qualified nominee.
