Enclosed is the final brochure describing the program for the 1998 Mutual Fund Training
Conference which the Institute is sponsoring on June 3 - 5, at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington,
D.C.
We are very pleased to inform you that Lori Richards, Director of the Office of Compliance
Inspections and Examinations at the Securities and Exchange Commission will give the keynote address
on Wednesday morning. Additionally, Clark Hooper, Executive Vice President of Disclosure and
Investor Protection for the NASDR will be the luncheon speaker on Thursday, June 4. Both Ms.
Richards and Ms. Hooper have made valuable contributions to our conferences in the past and we
welcome their participation.
We anticipate an excellent conference, and look forward to seeing you in June.
