RE: MEETINGS - MAY 11 & 12, 1998

As you are aware, the next meeting of the NSCC Enhancements Committee will take
place on Monday, May 11 at 2:00pm - 5:00pm, followed by the next meeting of the
Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee on Tuesday, May 12 at 10:00am - 3:00pm. Both meetings
will be held at the Investment Company Institute in the David Silver Conference Room.
The committee dinner will be held on the evening of Monday, May 11 at The Palm
Restaurant located at 1225 19 Street, NW. Cocktails are at 6:30pm, dinner is at 7:00pm.
For your convenience, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Washington Hilton
Hotel for the evening of Monday, May 11 at a rate of $171.00 single/double. The Washington
Hilton is located at 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW. To make a reservation, please call the hotel
at 202/483-3000 and ask for a room in the ICI Broker/Dealer block.
Please be advised that the Washington Hilton is the hotel which will accommodate the
ICIs 1998 General Membership Meeting, which takes place on Wednesday, May 13 through
Friday, May 15, 1998.
