Consequently, the Institute has scheduled a special Disclosure Reform Conference on April 23 at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. A conference program and registration form are attached. We are pleased to announce that Barry Barbash, Director of the Division of Investment Management of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, will introduce the conference with informal remarks. Next, members of his staff will join industry leaders for three panels to discuss Revised Form N-1A, Plain English Prospectus Disclosure, and Fund Profiles, respectively. The Institute must receive your registration by April 14, and will send you a written confirmation. Please return the attached registration form with your check to the Institutes Conference Division as soon as possible and call the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel at 202/347- 3000 if you wish to reserve a room.
